As well as being a Veterinary Practice, we undertake all the normal work that would be expected of a Veterinary Practice. This includes: -
24 hour emergency Service
The telephone is manned day and night 365 days a year by one of our nurses. We do not use a deputising service. The emergency numbers are Lichfield 262464 or 262433. The nurse may well be able to give invaluable first aid advice so that the animal can be brought safely to the practice for Veterinary examination. For security reasons clients MUST telephone the practice before attending outside of normal hours.
Vaccination
Routine vaccination of dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses against the more serious infectious diseases of these animals.
Neutering of male and female animals
This is not only important to prevent unwanted puppies and kittens, but can also greatly improve health. A neutered male cat makes a much better pet than an entire and is also much more content! Spaying bitches before their second season reduces the incidence of mammary tumours.
Micro chipping
Micro chipping provides a safe and certain way to identify your pet for life.
Weight Watchers Clinic
Run by our highly trained team of Veterinary Nurses, weight reduction can add years to your pet's life and make him/her much more active and happy.
Holiday Care Service
Although we cannot board healthy animals, some kennels are reluctant to look after animals that require continuous medication or treatment. In these exceptional circumstances the practice will arrange to care for your pet during your holiday.
Dental Care
The practice has facilities for dental care. This is an important aspect of your pets health which can often be overlooked.
