	There are two examination rooms, In the picture is James, one of our veterinary Surgeons. Each room has its own computer screen and all records are computerised. A thorough examination is followed by treatment, or if required further tests. Many blood samples are processed in our own lab.
The practice has two Wards. A general ward and an isolation facility. This is important to prevent the spread of infectious diseases within the practice. In this picture Katherine one of our Senior nurses examines a Burmese Mountain dog after surgery to correct a twisted stomach.
	The operating Theatre is one of the busiest rooms in the practice. It has twin operating tables, gaseous anaesthesia, electronic respiratory monitoring, real time E.C.G., and pulse oximetry. More on the operating theatre. More on the anaesthetic machine.
Many cases require blood tests or further investigation. Where clinically indicated the Veterinary Surgeon may well advise a preoperative blood test. Lindy is pictures working in our practice Laboratory. More on the laboratory.
